Sheffield logistics firm to speak at launch of new tool

The managing director of a leading Sheffield-based logistics firm will deliver a talk at the launch of an innovative Supply Chain Environmental Analysis Tool (SCEnAT+) in London.
DBL Logistics David Clarkson is a guest speaker the SCEnAT+ launch which is being held at Microsoft UK London on September 24.
SCEnAT+ is an online tool that enables companies to map their supply chains and identify CO2 emission reduction opportunities.
DBL Logistics worked closely with the Advanced Resource Efficiency Centre, providing data to Professor Lenny Koh of the Management School at the University of Sheffield, who led on the development of the tool.
David Clarkson, who completes DBL Logistics company initials along with that of his Father Bert and late Mother Linda, will speak at the event about the benefits of SCEnAT+ and the positive impact it can have on decreasing environmental impact.
David said: It is a huge honour to be invited as a guest speaker to the launch of the innovative SCEnAT+ tool.
