Social Media Masterclass for Transport, Warehousing and Logistics Companies
16th September 2015
Registration is now open for the Social Media Marketing Masterclass organised by RTITB. Designed for training providers in the transport, warehousing and logistics sectors, it will be held at Toyota Materials Handling in Castleford, West Yorkshire, on Friday 16 October 2015.
This masterclass will support training organisations to effectively spread the safety message via social media and grow their businesses, as well as how to measure success and return on investment, explains Laura Nelson, Managing Director of leading workplace transport accrediting body and Driver CPC Consortium, RTITB. It follows the successful Sales Masterclass we held in July.
Through presentations and interactive seminar sessions, Tiya Ivy, Digital Marketing Manager, and Nik Webb, Operations Director, from Molokini Marketing, will explore key social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Instagram, and help businesses to understand the benefits of using social media to market their transport, warehousing and logistics related training courses.
The masterclass will suit absolute beginners, while also giving insights, ideas, best practice and useful tools for businesses that have been using social media for some time, explains Tiya Ivy. It will be a chance to develop existing social media strategies to help them to get the best out of it. Not just using it as a sales tool, but to become part of the wider community.
The series of RTITB masterclasses is open to any LGV or materials handling equipment training provider, and is not limited to RTITB members. Everyone can benefit from the classes, adds Laura Nelson. We want to support our industry in becoming safer and more efficient, and one of the ways to do that is to empower trainers to engage with their customers and peers through social media.
