Bullwell Extends UK Mail Deal To Support Entire Trailer Fleet

Ryder subsidiary Bullwell Trailer Solutions has extended its trailer repair and maintenance contract with UK Mail and will now be responsible for the mail and parcel delivery company’s entire 321-strong trailer fleet. The new three-year deal follows on from a previous five-year agreement.

The UK Mail trailer fleet comprises:
– 186 tri-axle, semi-box trailers with tail lifts;
– 84 double-deck trailers; and
– 51 fixed draw bar trailers.

Bullwell Trailer Solutions was acquired by Ryder, one of the UK’s leading providers of commercial vehicles for contract hire, two years ago. Bullwell provides nationwide mobile trailer repair and maintenance services from its Midlands base in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

UK Mail is one of the leading independent parcel, mail, and logistics companies in the UK, with a national network of more than 50 sites and a fleet of 2,400 vehicles. It recently moved to a new head office and national hub in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry.
