New Managing Director to Unite TSC and Printronix Auto ID Sales and Marketing

Amine Soubai (left) has been named Managing Director of TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH effective January 2018. His primary task will be uniting sales and marketing activities of TSC and Printronix Auto ID. He follows in the footsteps of Ladislav Sloup (front), who contributed significantly to the success of TSC’s printer and semiconductor divisions and shaped the company’s positive development for nearly twenty years. TSC has also announced a further appointment. Ralf Welter (right) will assume the position of Managing Director of Taiwan Semiconductor Europe GmbH, sister company of TSC Auto ID, in Zorneding near Munich, Germany.
Amine Soubai now heads the GmbH and the two brands TSC and Printronix Auto ID. The labelling and identification expert now leads one of the Top 5 global manufacturers of reliable and innovative thermal printers. Since January 2016, Soubai worked as Director EMEA at Printronix Thermo/AICD, acquired by TSC Auto ID in January 2016. Be-fore that, he was Regional Sales Manager DACH & Northern Europe.
Soubai brings more than 20 years’ experience in managing sales and marketing departments, accumulated in an impressive career at global printer and IT organisations. Prior to his activity at Printronix Auto ID, he held the position as PAN European and Global Account Sales Manager at Toshiba TEC Europe and before that, as Sales Development Manager at American company Electronics for Imaging (EFI). The Auto-ID specialist laid the foundations for his career studying Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld, Germany, graduating as an engineer. Soubai is fluent in German, English, French and Arabic.
Amine Soubai briefly outlines his first objectives “My primary task as Managing Director will be to merge the two brands Printronix Auto ID and TSC. The expansion of our diverse portfolio and continuing TSC’s excel-lent service quality will remain on the agenda. Adapting our sales organi-sation to meet current and upcoming market and customer needs, well supported by professional marketing activities and campaigns will be another strategic focus for the coming years”.
