Advanced Supply Chain Group Expands Into Czech Republic
13th November 2018
Bradford-headquartered international end-to-end supply chain specialist, Advanced Supply Chain Group (ASCG), has expanded its operations with a European base in the Usti nad Labem region in the Czech Republic.
As the business continues to grow its global retail and manufacturing customer base Advanced Supply Chain Group have opened a 6,400 square metre facility carrying out both returns and value added services. This expansion is in addition to the business’ UK growth which will see ASCG post sales in excess of £75m for 2018. It follows the news ASCG has opened a Dubai base with airside access at Dubai World Central (DWC) Airport.
Mike Danby MBE and CEO of ASCG (pictured with CFO Claire Webb) said: “Since the result of the EU Referendum was announced, we have been making proactive investments across our business to ensure we are in the best possible position to continue to deliver without interruption for our customers. Despite the government not being much closer to an agreement around the specifics of a deal, we’ve continued to grow and our Czech base will allow us to drive further growth across mainland Europe.
“A number of our UK-headquartered ecommerce customers have expanded their operations across Europe in recent years so our new site allows us to support their European supply chains. For years we’ve invested in developing our own software so we can provide a bespoke omnichannel solution for each customer’s specific requirements. With technology at the core of everything we do, there are no boundaries to how we manage our customers’ global supply chains. Our new sites give us the physical footprint to ensure we can continue to support the seamless experience we’ve created online.”
ASCG has Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status which is an accreditation which ensures customs compliance and a secure international supply chain. The accreditation lowers the business’ risk so will minimise the risk of delays at borders post-Brexit.
