Italian Specialist Bonfiglioli to Present Electric Drives at LogiMAT

Italian drive specialist Bonfiglioli will be presenting its electric drives for modern intralogistics processes, together with its new IoT system solutions, as product highlights at the Logimat in Stuttgart from the 19th to the 21st of February 2019 in Hall 9 on Stand F65.

Bonfiglioli can provide highly efficient, low-noise planetary axles and drives with integrated, high-performance electric motors and low-maintenance braking systems with the 600 F series which are suitable for Class 1 industrial trucks for both indoor as well as outdoor utilization. Typical applications for these include 3 and 4-wheel counterbalanced industrial floor trucks, articulated industrial floor trucks and airport ground equipment. The compact, but still very robust 600F-E drives, achieve a maximum torque of 3000 to 18000 Nm at rated outputs from 9 to 28 kW. The drive units are perfectly suited to CB transporters with lifting capacities from 1.6 to 9 t and GSE vehicles with tow-bar towing capacities from 6000 to 25000 kg at top speeds of up to 20 km/h.

Bonfiglioli additionally supplies the 601W0E model series of idle steering systems which are typically utilized in the rear of 3 and 4-wheel counterbalanced fork-lift trucks. They can also be designed as axle units or steering units for twin-wheeled vehicles. Depending on the model selected, the steering units are equipped with integrated vibration dampers and are used to support holding devices. The steering functions as either electric or hydraulic and therefore provides a large steering angle. This ensures that the steering radius of the industrial floor truck is kept to a minimum so that narrow aisles can be negotiated without difficulty.
