Logistics Business Editor in Chief Appointed to IFOY Jury
7th August 2018
The IFOY organization has appointed four more jurors for the 2019 staging, including Logistics Business and www.logisticsbusiness.com editor in chief, Paul Hamblin. He is joined by Winfried Bauer, editor-in-chief of the German intralogistics journal “f+h Fördertechnik, Materialfluss, Logistik 4.0” and Gilles Solard, publisher and editor-in-chief of French logistics magazine “Stratégies Logistique” as the newly elected jurors. Anders Karlsson was re-elected after transferring to the Swedish logistics magazine “Svensk Åkeritidning” as editor-in-chief.
A total of 28 editors-in-chief of leading international logistics publications from 19 nations are now part of the IFOY jury. Once again, in spring 2019 they will test and select the world’s best intralogistics products and solutions.
The application phase for the IFOY Award 2019 is currently in full swing. Suppliers of material handling products and intralogistics solutions can apply until October 30 of 2018 with their innovations and warehouse projects in a total of eleven categories. For the first time, startups also have a permanent position at the IFOY Award.
Due to its high level of expertise, the IFOY Award is seen as the authoritative innovation award in intralogistics. The voting process is preceded by a wide-ranging nomination and testing cycle, during which the qualified trucks are rigorously put through their paces. The sponsor of the IFOY Award is the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Sector Association.
