New Modular Pallet Lift For Loads Up To 2000 kg
18th January 2016
Qimarox has brought to market its Prorunner mk10 product elevator. Based on the design of its Prorunner mk9, the new model features four columns instead of two, which the company says allow it to transport pallets weighing up to 2000kg with ease.
The standardised, modular unit can be integrated into any end-of-line packaging system or storage system and can furthermore be used in conjunction with the Highrunner mk7, Qimaroxs product palletiser. The mk10 can transport up to 60 pallets per hour, to any height between 0.4m and 10m.
The lifting platform is 1200 x 1200mm as standard but can be fitted with a pallet track, so that it can handle not only euro pallets, but also product carriers of different sizes such as block pallets.
Infeed and outfeed along four sides
The company also says that, thanks to its four-column construction, pallets can be fed in and out on four different sides. It is also possible to use a single machine to supply multiple infeed or outfeed levels, so that the lift can also be used for, for example, vertical sorting. Because the lift is constructed out of standard sections, its height can be increased in 250mm increments. The drive consists of a standard SEW electric motor, which can be attached at floor level or at the level of the intermediate floor, depending on user needs.
Qimarox is a manufacturer of rugged and reliable components for material handling systems. It says its innovative concepts, patented technologies and continuous development allow it to manufacture product lifts and palletisers that combine flexibility and productivity with a low total cost of ownership.
