IPP Bids Farewell to Pooling Partners Name Identity
18th March 2019
A well-known name in the European logistics landscape will no longer be in use from today with the news that IPP is to drop the name ‘Pooling Partners’.
As of today, the names of all companies that form part of the Faber Halbertsma Group will change. That is also the case for IPP. The name of the umbrella company ‘Pooling Partners’ will no longer exist. With the company’s expertise in pallet and box pooling services in the FMCG sector and in industry, the company will use its original name by which it is known in the market. The new group branding was heralded with a strike of the bell during the stock exchange open ceremony of Euronext Amsterdam on Monday 18 March (Stan Peeters, CFO, above).
The loss of the name Pooling Partners translates into a clear focus on the positioning of the individual IPP brand in the market, whilst maintaining the group’s image. The rebranding ensures that IPP can concentrate more on what the company truly excels at. That is because, for years, IPP has distinguished itself by simplicity in pallet and box pooling, simple invoicing, efficient cooperation and security of supply. The step towards creating transparency in the structure of the company names again reflects the focus on simplicity.
The rebranding is an investment in the company’s future and serves to build a strong platform on which IPP can continue to develop. By visually presenting all individual companies as members of a unified group, each of them strengthens the position of the others. As a group member, IPP is in a stronger market position than an individual company whilst at the same time the company can develop its own strength.
