3PL Showcase to Feature at UK’s IMHX 2019
1st June 2018
IMHX 2019 (NEC, Birmingham, 24-27 September 2019) will feature a trade pavilion dedicated to showcasing the range of services offered by third party logistics (3PL) companies. Hosted by the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) it will provide an opportunity for logistics specialists to promote their business to supply chain professionals.
Peter Ward, CEO of UKWA, commented: “UKWA is delighted to be working with IMHX to showcase the best of the UK’s logistics industry to the thousands of logistics professionals from across the retail and manufacturing industries who will attend this important event.
He continued: “IMHX is the largest and longest running exhibition in the UK for the logistics and supply chain industries and the UKWA Pavilion is going to generate a lot of interest among visitors.
“Given the increasing need for flexible and agile supply chains more and more companies are turning to third party service providers and realising the benefits of sub-contracting supply chain activities to experts who can offer multiple routes to market through multiple locations.
“Visitors to the UKWA Pavilion at IMHX 2019 will be able to find out more about the many ways in which the wide range of services offered by UKWA members can greatly enhance their business’s performance.”
Rob Fisher, IMHX 2019 event director, commented: “UKWA is a dynamic and vibrant trade association whose members include some of the most significant companies in the UK logistics industry.
“Due, in part, to the sustained growth of e-commerce which is driving demand for specialist order fulfilment services, third party logistics is growing at a significant rate and the UKWA Pavilion will be the place where IMHX visitors can meet some of the leading companies in the sector.”
