Agility Wins Global 3PL Automotive Award

Agility has won the Third-Party Logistics Company prize at the 2016 Automotive Supply Chain Global Awards, which recognized the company for its work on behalf of one of the world’s leading automakers.
“Supply chains in the auto industry are among the most complex and challenging you can find,” said Mohammed Esa, Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at Agility. “This win is recognition that we can help customers improve management of their supply chains anywhere in the world.”
Agility won the award for its work for a luxury car manufacturer. Agility established a complete distribution network with a guaranteed turnaround time of 24 hours. It also expanded warehousing space by 8,000m2 in just 120 days and established a dedicated, public-bonded warehouse within the space, creating a one-stop shop for the customer.
The awards recognize companies and individuals making significant contributions and improvements to the supply chain and logistics sector in the global automotive industry. Agility was one of 18 companies and individuals receiving awards for being efficient, innovative and competitive in their supply chain process.
