New Appointment For Port of Dunkerque

Dunkerque Port has appointed a new head of its Development and Environment Division. Erwin Le Bris, 41, will be responsible for the scheduling, design and steering of the Port’s development works, for relations with external partners, for implementing the environmental policy and for the management of industrial risks.
Le Bris graduated from the Higher Institute of Technology in 1998 and the National Highway Engineering School (Civil Engineering section) in 2001, completing a PhD in materials science in 2003. He began his career as a head of department in two highway engineering positions, then worked at the SETEC design office in Paris where, between 2008 and 2014, he was in charge of steering the project management and assistance to the contracting authority for several projects on buildings, structures and public works.
In 2013 he was in charge of the detailed design studies for the Third Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey. Before joining Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque, from 2014 to 2016 he was Assistant Technical and Engineering Director for Highways at the Nord Region Highways Division.
