Netherlands-based container handler specialist Copal is celebrating being nominated for a Logistica Award 2019.
The Copal C2 container unloader, covered most recently in the May 2019 issue of Logistics Business on page 20, is an automation solution for unloading containers with loosely loaded jute bags and boxes. The Container Unloader drives into the container and can pick up the load to the rear of the container with the help of a telescopic belt and specially developed grapples.
The entries were assessed on the basis of a number of assessment criteria: application value, degree of innovation, economic importance, cost effectiveness and creativity.
