Using the website and its content
Use the website lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or submit material that you have no right to provide. Content belongs to us or the relevant rights holders. You may read it and share links; reuse of protected text, photographs, branding or other material requires the relevant permission unless the law permits that use. Sharing a link does not imply our endorsement.
News, interviews and editorial material provide general information. Views attributed to contributors are their own. We take reasonable care but information may change or contain errors; please report a material error to us. External sites and services have their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not mean we control their content.
Logistics Business Person Awards
Awards purchases and nominations are governed by the Logistics Business Person Awards Entry Terms presented with the entry form. Those terms cover eligibility, fees, VAT, payment and invoice arrangements, acceptance/publication, voting and judging, cancellation/refunds, category changes, publicity permissions and complaints. They take precedence over these general website terms for awards entries. The version accepted with an order is retained for that order; later versions are not imposed retrospectively.
Personal awards entrants have the full-refund cancellation promise stated in those Entry Terms, including where a profile has already been published within the promised period. These email addresses do not restrict legally valid notices or statutory remedies.
Using the LB Media app
Use your own email address for passwordless sign-in and keep access to that email account secure. Do not share sign-in links, impersonate another person, access accounts without authority or misuse app features.
Saved content, synchronised preferences, progress, notifications and offline downloads depend on supported features, devices, connectivity and content availability. Downloads are for your permitted personal use and do not transfer copyright or grant redistribution rights. Third-party media and services remain subject to their own applicable terms.
You can manage available notification and account settings through the app. Deleting an app account does not by itself cancel separately managed newsletter subscriptions; use their unsubscribe controls. The Privacy Policy explains app information, account deletion and data requests.
We may maintain, update or restrict features where reasonably necessary for security, rights management or misuse. This does not remove obligations under an existing paid-service contract or your mandatory legal rights.
Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing, including a specific awards section. Using this website does not itself amount to consent to all processing or enrol you in marketing. Permissions and choices requested for particular services are explained at the point of collection.
Availability, rights and changes
We may maintain or update the website and address misuse. Such steps do not remove obligations under an accepted paid-service contract. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. We do not require you to waive legal remedies merely by browsing the site.
We may update these website-use terms prospectively by publishing a revised version and date. Changes do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing contract. English and Welsh law applies, while consumers retain mandatory protections and court rights where they live. Contact in**@***************ss.com about a concern; statutory deadlines are unaffected.
