The ‘Next Level of Performance’ campaign continues as Toyota Material Handling Europe announces the launch of four new warehouse trucks that further expand its next-generation low level order picking and towing portfolio. The introduction of the Toyota Optio L-series OSE100 and OSE100W, together with the Toyota Tracto S-series TSE300 and TSE500, strengthens Toyota’s offering for operations where efficient order picking, stacking and horizontal transport are critical, helping them streamline workflows and boost performance.
Building on the positively received introduction of the redesigned Optio L-series, the latest trucks carry forward the campaign theme, ‘Next level of Performance’. The latest additions are aimed at warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturing operations that require agile machines capable of handling demanding daily workflows.
The Toyota Optio man-up low level order pickers have 1000kg load capacity. The OSE100 with elevating platform and the OSE100W with walkthrough platform – up to 1195 mm – allow for efficient picking up to second level. The walkthrough platform allows for picking bulky items onto the forks. Additionally, the OSE100 features an initial lift that raises the forks to an ergonomic working height.
The OSE100 and OSE100W low level order pickers benefit from a compact three-wheel design that delivers excellent manoeuvrability, making them particularly well suited to congested warehouse environments. Customers can choose between electronic steering configurations to match operational preferences, while optional heating solutions further support operators working in colder environments. Standard walkie buttons allow the truck to be advanced while the operator walks alongside it, reducing unnecessary getting on and off during frequent picking cycles.
The same design philosophy is applied to the Towing Stand-in Electric tow tractors TSE300 and TSE500, with 3.0t and 5.0t towing capacity and travel speeds up to 12 km/h, ideal for high-performance horizontal transportation in warehouses and logistics. Also available with a lithium battery, where opportunity charging enables longer shifts, the Toyota Tracto S-series offers significant benefits for advanced order picking, specialised or long-distance load transport.
Featuring the updated operator compartment and simplified battery access, the trucks are designed for efficient horizontal transport in industrial and logistics environments. Additional features such as standard inching buttons, optional rear-view mirrors and directional indication lights support ease of use while contributing to safe and precise manoeuvring. Customers can also specify a Rockinger hitch option for demanding towing tasks.

Across both product families, Toyota has placed particular emphasis on energy efficiency. The trucks combine lightweight design principles with efficient drive technology to help customers reduce energy consumption without compromising performance. Lower noise levels and reduced ground clearance further contribute to a refined operating experience, supporting both productivity and workplace comfort.
Designed around the needs of operators
A key differentiator of the range is its focus on operator wellbeing. The recent models feature an upgraded driver compartment with wider entry access, integrated storage solutions and a redesigned battery hood concept that simplifies battery maintenance. These improvements help reduce downtime while making daily operations more comfortable and efficient.
The trucks are engineered to minimise vibration exposure during long shifts, helping reduce operator fatigue while supporting sustained productivity throughout the working day. Recent evaluations based on ISO 23308 test criteria have recognised the OSE100 and OSE100W as best-in-class for both energy consumption and noise level, underlining Toyota’s commitment to combining efficiency with operator comfort.
Safety remains a central element of the design. The trucks can be equipped with Toyota’s proven safety features, including blue or red warning lights and other visibility-enhancing options that help improve awareness around moving vehicles. Combined with the enhanced ergonomics of the operator compartment, these technologies support safer interactions between equipment, operators and pedestrians in busy warehouse settings.
The role of continuous development in customer success
“Customers increasingly want equipment that combines performance, efficiency and operator comfort. These new models deliver all three, extending the benefits of our latest platform to more applications,” said Mark Peters, Marketing Director at Toyota Material Handling Europe, “By combining top-class efficiency, low vibration and ergonomic design, they help operators perform at their best.”
Order books for the OSE100, OSE100W, TSE300 and TSE500 open in November, with production scheduled to begin during the first quarter of 2027. A new Toyota Optio OSE120CB model will further expand the Optio offering. Together, these launches represent innovative, reliable solutions for customers to move, stack and pick goods more efficiently.
