Repsol Selects Control Tower for Logistics

Repsol, one of the world’s leading global integrated energy companies, has selected IBS Software to transform its primary logistics operations across multiple locations. The partnership will see Repsol adopt IBS Software’s iLogistics Control Tower solution streamlining logistics and providing an end-to-end view of the supply chain to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

The adoption of IBS Software’s iLogistics Control Tower module will enable Repsol to advance its digital transformation journey. IBS Software’s innovative platform delivers real-time dashboards and continuous shipment updates, functioning as a centralised communication hub for suppliers, freight forwarders, and oil and gas operators. With features like end-to-end shipment traceability and proactive alerts on supply chain events, the solution will empower Repsol to improve efficiency, collaboration, and transparency across its logistics operations.

Managing complex cargo movements from supplier sites to final delivery locations, often involving multiple transportation modes such as vessels, trucks, and aircraft, is a significant challenge for any operator in the sector. With the iLogistics Control Tower solution, Repsol can overcome these hurdles by providing a centralised platform for shipment tracking, document management, and real-time status updates against purchase orders. By integrating critical shipment data into a single source of truth, Repsol aims to achieve improved supply chain visibility, reduced manual effort, and increased logistics reliability.

Repsol’s success in piloting iLogistics for its Peru operations has already delivered measurable improvements in logistics efficiency, paving the way for further deployment. TotalEnergies Deploys Software for Personnel Logistics

TotalEnergies, one of the world’s leading global integrated energy companies, has selected IBS Software to transform its personnel logistics and tracking operations in Iraq through its affiliate TotalEnergies Exploration Production Ratawi Hub (TEPRH). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in digitising and automating workforce transport, Personnel on Board (POB) control and accommodation, ensuring enhanced safety and seamless travel experiences for TotalEnergies employees.

This partnership will see TotalEnergies deploy IBS Software‘s iLogistics Cloud solution, designed to streamline and optimise personnel logistics, material logistics, and safety through its e-mustering solution. IBS Software’s platform provides the automation of transport scheduling, check-ins, and tracking of personnel on site. This will not only boost operational efficiency for TotalEnergies Iraq operations but will also contribute to safer and more reliable workforce mobilisation.

To ensure safety, iLogistics will provide TotalEnergies with dynamic risk assessments and safe journey management fuelled by real-time data. What’s more, the iLogistics Accommodation Management module will offer the energy company a state-of-the-art platform for managing personnel arrivals, departures, and accommodations at work sites.

This partnership provides TotalEnergies with the iLogistics Check-In App which simplifies the logistics process by providing a tablet-based smart check-in system for logistics dispatchers. At airports, camps, and oilfield locations, travellers will be able to check in seamlessly and touchlessly by scanning iLogistics Go QR codes, RFID, or smart badges. The app also supports offline capability, making it ideal for remote worksite personnel management and oilfield installations where network connectivity may be limited.

MSC Air Cargo Partners with IBS

The acquisition will strengthen IBS Software’s leadership as a technology provider to the air freight industry by bringing together complementary solutions and a shared vision for innovating and transforming the air cargo businesses. Boosting the freight business is an increasingly critical priority for airlines and the AFLS acquisition consolidates latest innovations to accelerate growth, especially AFLS’ cloud-based collaboration platforms which deliver advancements in airline partnerships – a major focus area for carriers.
