Lamps Plus, the USA’s largest speciality lighting retailer, has successfully deployed Manhattan Point of Sale to deliver an advanced omnichannel shopping experience to its customers. The retail leader has implemented Manhattan’s next-generation point of sale (POS) solution in its flagship store in Chatsworth, California, with plans to expand to its additional 35 retail locations later this year. Manhattan currently supplies the lighting retailer with technology solutions for order management, store inventory and fulfilment, warehouse management, labour management and slotting.

Part of the Manhattan Active™ Omni platform, the solution brings together selling, customer engagement and store inventory and fulfilment to help store teams deliver customer experiences with a single omnichannel system of record for managing customer interactions and transactions. The new software also allows Lamps Plus to choose from numerous hardware manufacturers, form factors and operating systems.
